Happy Mother’s Day

Today is a day. I hold near to my heart. As it is a day I never thought I’d be apart of.  Once a dreaded holiday. That was a reminder of what I didn’t have. What I thought I’d never have.

Is now a day I celebrate. I look forward to  not dread. But today isn’t any different then any other day for me though. Since becoming a mom. As each day for me is mothers day. Each day I’m grateful for my son. Each day he smiles at me, and reminds me how truly lucky I am.

He is my everything! It gets a tad overwhelming having ones heart walking outside your body.

Worrying every minute of everyday. Are they happy? Are they safe? Do they feel loved enough? Do they feel wanted/Needed?

Not a second in my day goes by without thinking about my son. And wishing the very best for him. I love watching him grow and change. I even enjoy his sassy moments which seem to be more often then not lately!

Today was spent. Eating at our favorite cafe. Going fishing on the lake. Playing catch. And watching him learn how to mow on the riding lawn mower. Which has given me grey hairs! Now it’s ending with a movie, bath time and snuggles at bed time. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I truly hope that today is a good day for all!
